Background

My name is yvan vander sanden. I studied music at the Ghent conservatory in Belgium, focusing on experimental electronic music. In the past, I did also write some choir music although I don't think I will be doing that again any time soon.

Work

For the moment I teach c++, art history and music at a secondary school in Aarschot, Belgium. Before that, I was working as the administrative director of Logos Foundation, a centre for new music and sound in Ghent. About all my free time goes to the Attr-X project, which I see as the most logical next step in my work as an electronic music maker.
